Kirschwasser Single Cask Maderia (Fruit Brandy distilled from Cherries and aged in Maderia Cask)

We have also been maturing our cherry brandies in wooden barrels for many decades. For the first time in our history we have decided on so-called “single cask bottling”. This means that this cherry brandy matured in a single, individually selected wine barrel. Therefore there is only a very limited number of bottles, which depends on the size of the selected wine barrel. Each bottle was also given a consecutive number. An absolute rarity and therefore also a collector's item! This first single cask bottling took place on our 100th anniversary in August 2023. For this we chose a Madeira barrel in which the cherry brandy matured for many years.

Color: Dark amber

Nose: Beautiful, sweet apricot notes, integrated with honey, caramel and hints of orange and lime

Taste: Warm cherry notes, which then turn into light sweetness and spice and absorb the olfactory notes
